In the middle of the school year it’s not uncommon to encounter the BLAHS! Sometimes you might not even really know why, but you just don’t feel like homeschooling. It could be that you’re trying to overcome homeschool burnout and that’s totally okay! For those days when you just aren’t sure what to do, it’s always a good idea to have a list of good and educational things that you can watch on Netflix or YouTube with your kids.
I have prepared a list of our family’s favorite educational resources that are good things that you can grab on a day when you just don’t know what else to do!
Please know that while I am recommending these things to you I cannot 100% fully endorse them, as it would be impossible to know if each episode fit your families values. I would encourage you to preview them ahead of time in case there is something that you are not willing for your kids to see. Although our family holds to a very conservative standard as far as our viewing goes, I recognize that that is a relative term. Our family also holds to a creation viewpoint and I have found it difficult to find anything that is completely without some evolutionary flares.
With that being said let’s get started on a good ‘go-to’ list of things to watch on Netflix for your homeschool classroom.
If you’re a homeschooler, struggling to keep balance in your life, you’ll definitely want to check out my new book, The Homeschooling Housewife, Juggling it All, One Priority at a Time.
